RIOT Announces VCT 2023: In Valorant’s VCT event, teams around the world often earn circuit points to ultimately qualify for the finals. While not all information about the event has been disclosed, there is plenty of early information and the format of the future competition in detail.

Valorant VCT 2022 Format
The newly drawn Valorant VCT promises even higher stakes as stronger teams will present the world’s best games competing for a trophy. Challengers, currently the entry point for the VCT, 2022It will continue to be the entry point for forward-looking global events for organized teams.
Also, a new competitive phase is called Challengers Ascension. There are three Ascension leagues: EMEA, Americas and Pacific. The track will span Asia, Europe, North America and South America and will present Valorant Game Changers its own global event, an initiative for the best female players in the game.
The new tournament circuit will see Riot working with “best” third-party operators to create a series of new events that will allow both existing and new players to showcase their talents between VCT seasons when there are no events.
Challengers leagues will begin with an open qualifier as before, placing the top teams in two divisions of the multi-week regular season game. The developer is currently negotiating with organizations from around the world to fill its 30 partner slots in three international leagues. Organizations accepted into the affiliate program will receive a scholarship of at least $600,000 per year.

VCT 2022 will kick off in February with the launch of a new Challengers format that is said to “create more competition between the top teams at a regional level”. Each region will allow one additional team to join the international league, meaning that in 2024 there will be 11 teams per international league.
