Best Budget Gaming PC Under $500 for Valorant

In this compilation of PC parts, we’ll guide you through the best parts you can buy for Valorant for under $500 total and have a great time playing the game without breaking the bank.

This guide will consist of two parts, the first for the AMD version and the second for the Intel version. Whichever version you choose, it won’t matter much when playing Valorant. However, if you have different work situations that most people do, be sure to read the section that explains the pros and cons of both constructs.

The following is the first part, namely the AMD build, watch out for the Intel build list coming soon!

Anyway, without further ado, here is the parts list!

PC Structure For Valorant under $500

Below is the list for AMD build. Note that prices are subject to market volatility, but if you’re patient enough for a sale or buying for your PC, you can buy for less than the amount listed here.

Processor

AMD Ryzen 5 for Valorant PC

The CPU we recommend for AMD build is AMD Ryzen 5 5600G APU. The CPU has 6 cores and 12 threads with a boost clock of 4.4 GHz.

The CPU also comes with a stock AMD Wraith heatsink which is good enough for this CPU and will be under that kind of load, so a 3rd party heatsink will not be necessary for this build.

motherboard

If the processor is the brain, the Motherboard is the heart of the computer. It ensures that the right amount of power is sent to the components. We recommend getting a B550 Motherboard, all compatible with AMD Ryzen 5600G. Another thing to note is that there are many motherboards that will only give you 2 RAM slots and are not bad at all and will make RAM installation very easy for you, but not recommended if you plan to upgrade in the future.

Memory

For memory, we recommend 16GB of RAM at 3600MHz or more. Also, instead of plugging a 16GB stick into your PC, we recommend getting a (2×8)GB kit so that you can fully utilize the dual-channel memory.

Any reputable PC Parts brand will do well for this category, such as: Vital, CORSAIR, team groupand others.

to store

Now that’s the part where you have to analyze how much rage you really need for other things besides Valorant, Windows and other common software like Discord, Spotify, Steam and the like.

We recommend getting at least 480GB of Solid State Storage (SSD), and if you feel you need more, you can always expand it in the form of a Hard Drive of any capacity.

GPU

This build in particular doesn’t need a discrete GPU, as the Ryzen 5600G’s IGPU is more than enough to handle Valorant and other games at lower settings.

However, if you want, you can easily upgrade to a discrete GPU like the GTX 1650 or GTX 1660 once you’ve saved more money.

Situation

We’re charging $60 for the case so there’s a wide variety to choose from.

That said, here’s what we recommend for Peak performance. Choose a case that has adequate airflow to all your components and comes with lots of front IOs like USB 3.1 or even 3.2 Audio Jacks and the like. Airflow is the more important of the two because keeping your components cool should be the main priority of the case, not aesthetics.

power source

The PSU or Power Supply Unit we recommend for this case will be at least 80 Plus Bronze rated with a minimum wattage of 550 Watts, so in case you want to add a discrete GPU in the future, other than the need to purchase a new power supply when purchasing a GPU in the future, have enough spare watts to do this.

Certain Thoughts

While this build guide covers the AMD side, we’ll be uploading an Intel guide for it soon, a link to it will be added as soon as it comes out, so be sure to check back later.

With that, we get your permission for now, but don’t worry we’ll be back with more such guides in the future!
