With players arriving in mid-September, Tencent is ready with the PUBG Mobile 2.2 update with a brand new map called ‘NUSA’, some changes to the classic Erangel map, and a themed mode called Gear Front.
As the previous patch is almost two months into its release, developers will soon start posting new content to the game, allowing players to try it out after downloading it from the Google Play Store and App Store.

PUBG Mobile 2.2 update: Release date and new features
One of the most popular mobile battle-royale games, which can generate a huge revenue stream every month, brings new content to the game every two months. Tencent has announced the release date of the PUBG Mobile 2.2 update after struggling with the NUSA map for a week.
PUBG Mobile 2.2 update will be available to Android and iOS players from September 13, but due to different time zones, some devices may receive the patch tomorrow. The update comes after two weeks of beta testing and teasing of the new map by the developers.
What’s new in the 2.2 update?
New NUSA map
The smallest of PUBG Mobile will be added to the game from September 15th. NUSA is a 1×1 km map designed for quick matches only. The map will be a permanent addition and will be set on a tropical island with distinctive features such as PvE battles, Beach cannons and destructible water jars. Strange Town
