BLACKPINK, a South Korean female group formed by YG Entertainments, is ready to hold their first ‘virtual concert’ on Tencent’s PUBG Mobile, giving BLACKPINK and PUBG Mobile fans a double treat. The announcement by both parties took the internet by storm, and this article will go into the details of that collaboration.
Tencent’s battle-royale game often brings in some unique collaborations to provide fans with a new kind of entertainment and distract them from the usual battle scenes of battlefields. The upcoming crossover has already created a lot of hype on social media.

BLACKPINK returns to PUBG Mobile for ‘virtual concert’
BLACKPINK’s four daughters are known to pamper their fans with their enchanting voices and dance moves at concerts. To date, they have not sang at a concert that took place virtually. However, they are now taking a step forward as they have decided to come back to the popular battle-royale game to give their fans a virtual feast.
Both BLACKPINK and PUBG Mobile released this announcement on their social media accounts and drove their fans crazy. While another teaser is expected, the only information we have about BLACKPINK right now is that it will be available for Virtual, North and South America on July 22-23 and July 29-30.
On the other hand, other countries will be able to listen to the songs on 23-24 and 30-31 July. Outside of the concert, 3D avatars of Jennie, Rose, Lisa, and Jisoo will be available in-game with a surprise piece being revealed. Speaking of this crossover, YG Entertainments said:
“In addition to the members’ three-dimensional avatars, the three-dimensional sounds and performances will come to life through the high-quality technology of the game production company PUBGM.”
It’s worth reminding players that this isn’t the first time BLACKPINK has collaborated with Tencent’s PUBG Mobile. The first pass was extremely successful as the players listened to the band’s popular songs in their lobby and also received themed rewards like helmets, backpacks and more.
With their second collaboration, players are expected to receive another special event. BLACKPINK where themed goodies will be available for players to acquire.
