Formats of the new Fortnite tournament mode
New formats are expected to be implemented in the Lightning Cup. The “Best Of” and “High Score” formats are also new to the competition. Concepts have been smashed on Twitter accounts, and what it essentially shows is that the elimination count is huge.
“Best of” – Only your top five out of seven matches will contribute to the Leaderboard.
“High Score” – The only match counted on the Leaderboard is your best match in the last 2 hours.
Teams must earn a Victory Royale and multiple eliminations to earn a spot on the Leaderboard. As a result, it’s safe to expect matches to be this way. Fortnite It will be challenging and tiring for the competitors.
