Third Party Perspective (TPP)

In Modern Warfare 2 Beta, a player’s first use of hipfire in third-person mode, ADS brought the player a first-person perspective that confused most players.

However, a recent improvement preserves third-person perspective when using ADS at ranges below 4x magnification. This means you can enjoy hipfire in fast-paced combat for third-person players.

Additionally, the FOV slider for this mod has been increased from 90 as seen in the beta to 120 in the final game. This increases the player’s field of view and allows them to move around the map faster while eliminating enemies.

Activision and Infinity Ward also confirmed plans to improve sound balance, visibility and lobby spread on launch day as further improvements to the post-beta game.
