This year’s first new Call of Duty game is the gorgeous 2022 iteration of Modern Warfare 2, and it’s out today on all major gaming platforms around the world. Players who pre-ordered the game were testing out this Call of Duy: Modern Warfare 2 campaign last week, and now all multiplayer maps are also available on launch day.
Activision’s Modern Warfare 2 received mostly positive feedback overall. The community has responded well to this, and fans love the graphics and gameplay of the new game. However, some points have been raised recently by players that the new game is missing.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Has Some Missing Details That Fans Aren’t Satisfied With
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 seems to have come under fire for leaving out some key parts of its gameplay and UI. Fans have noticed parts missing from the new game and are claiming it’s “missing”.
Factors like Medals, Personal Barracks, and mainly the Hardcore Mode were pointed out by many as areas where Modern Warfare 2 was lacking. Some players were frustrated that Hardcore Mode was excluded in the new game as it seems to affect their gameplay.
In Hardcore Mode, player health is more than half, which means that almost all weapons produce one-shot kills. Hard mode is not available at launch, but Infinity Ward has confirmed it will be added at a later date.

There are plenty of other multiplayer modes like Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint, but if players are looking for the extra challenge that Hardcore has to offer, they’ll have to wait a little longer.
This could apply to other areas as well, such as Personal Barracks left in Modern Warfare 2, Challenges to earn Calling Cards, stats, and more that will be included in new game passes shortly. Confusingly, Hardcore has now been renamed Tier 1. Modern Warfare 2so players should note the new name if they see Tier 1 in future updates.
