The manga ‘Attack on Titan’ is one of the most popular in the world and this year completed a decade of existence.
The success was so great that the story was not restricted to the volumes released over the years and reached, of course, the universe of video games.
The latest news involving anime and games is not related to a major studio or company in the sector, on the contrary. A fan of the manga dedicated himself for two years and developed a 100% free gameinspired by the cartoon stories.
The game doesn’t have a name yet; however, according to Swammy, the sole developer responsible, its trajectory consists of putting the player in the position of a member of a recon battalion that must cut and annihilate titans with a sword.

The news surprised the community that follows the manga and immediately captured the interest of many people. When announcing the feat in social mediaSwammy received several positive comments.
One follower wrote: “Swammy is the best ever.” Others added: “I need this now” and “This is crazy.”
This isn’t the first time Swammy has tried to create a game or venture into the gaming universe. He even created a game publisher, called ‘Blackbox’, and already has a title with a page on Steam, called ‘Mecha Attack’.
So far, the new free game has no release date, but the good news is that those interested can now add it to their wishlist on Steam.
In this video, he talks about the game:
Demo in 2022
The game’s first test of popularity came in 2022, when Swammy released a free demo for ‘Attack on Titan’ fans. It was so successful that it was downloaded more than 10 million times.
The result, of course, excited the young developer, who promised to continue working to improve the project and release a final version. That’s exactly what he announced a year later. The game was created in Unreal Engine 5.
