Some time later, Amanda Waller improved the method, replacing the bracelets with containment collars also equipped with explosives. However, a more cruel plan lay behind this seemingly simple facade.
The revelation occurs in ‘Suicide Squad: Raise the Flag #1’ in 2007, when Waller, without hesitation, orders the brain of the villain Puma to be detonated as he tries to escape Belle Reve prison.
The twist reveals that all of the inmates at Belle Reve have microbombs secretly implanted in their skulls.
Even Amanda Waller has a bomb hidden in her brain for emergencies, a secret known only to Rick Flag.
The question that remains is whether this dynamic will be adapted for cinema in future productions of ‘Suicide Squad’.
Heads explode in ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’
The tradition of detonated heads will also reach video games with ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’.

This new development adds a layer of tension and realism to the virtual world of ‘Suicide Squad’.
With a release date set for February 2, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, the game ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’ has already generated diverse opinions.
The launch trailer revealed on YouTube and the first impressions from closed tests aroused uncertainty and criticism.
Expectations are high, and fans are waiting to see how this explosive narrative will unfold in both comics and video games.
