Marvel Comics decided to fulfill some requests and finally brought the Spider man back. However, this time, it won’t just be Peter Parker who uses the Spider-Signal.
But finally this will happen, because Spider-Man was a Marvel superhero who made several scattered appearances in the comics. Because of this, he ended up being forgotten by some writers over the decades. So, Zeb Wells decided to bring him back in 2023, but in a different version.

In his first appearances, Peter Parker was a Super hero with focus in gadgetsso in their early designs, Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko began imagining him with a web gun, which was later replaced by web shooters on their wrists.
Additionally, he acquired the infamous Spider-Mobile. However, his was like a genius gadgeteer ended quietly in the 1990s.
In “Amazing Spider-Man”, which was written by Zeb Wells and illustrated by Ed McGuinness, Peter Parker finds himself trapped in Limbo as part of the “Dark Web” crossover event, so that he is forced to fight a demonic version of the Sinister Six.
But, fortunately, he will have his faithful ally called Rek-Rap, who is a hero in the same style as Deadpool, who has all the powers and abilities of Spider-Man, albeit with a demonic twist from Limbo.
The Spider-Signal was created to pay homage to the anti-heroes who appeared in these stories. In it, Spider-Man barely used his Spider-Signal, in fact, many of the writers forgot he had it.
Where will the signal be?
Seeing the return of the Spider-Signal is certainly something that will please fans a lot. However, what may end up leaving them dismayed is knowing that Peter Parker himself will not be using his device.
So, as Rek-Rap He is a powerful ally, but one that Peter doesn’t like very much, because of his propensity for violence, the relationship between them ends up not being the best possible.
Therefore, Peter thinks it’s best to leave the Spider Signal with him, to try to escape Limbo with just his intelligence.
