Streaming Panic: Users Are Unable to Connect to Netflix

On the night of Monday, December 11th, the platform of Netflix went through instabilities, generating frustration among Brazilian users.

Reports indicate that from 7:30 p.m. onwards, many people were having difficulty accessing their accounts on the popular streaming service. The dissatisfaction led several users to take to the Downdetector website to express their complaints.

Surprisingly, even after regaining access, many were unable to enjoy any of the programs available on the platform. Streaming only returned to normal around 10 pm.

The problem was not limited to Brazil, but also affected countries such as Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. The temporary unavailability left subscribers around the world disappointed and completely surprised.

Only 6% mentioned instability in the Netflix app. The platform’s silence fuels curiosity about what actually caused the global outage, leaving subscribers waiting for clarification.

Among the comments, some said they thought it was a problem with payment or internet connection, but they didn’t imagine the failure would have come directly from streaming.

Perplexity took hold of fans, who found themselves lost and incredibly curious in the face of the surprising disorder.
