‘She-Hulk’: HQ writer blasts fans who made negative comments

Some time after the release of the comic book “She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes”, many people took to social media and began to criticize her.

However, according to Dan Slottwho was responsible for writing most of the heroine’s stories, many of these criticisms were “bullshit”. So, he decided to also use Twitter to talk about these people who were criticizing him.

Screenwriter Dan Slott took to his official Twitter account and blasted all the fans who were claiming that the series was not faithful to the original content. He also added that those who are badmouthing the show don’t know what they are talking about.

In the post, it said:

“For everyone out there who’s saying that ‘She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes’ isn’t ‘true to the comics’… I’m the guy who’s written more issues than anyone else. I’ve read every single comic book in her history.”

Furthermore, he stated:

“And I’m saying, for the record, that this is the show that follows the comics most closely of any MCU series.”

But why were they criticizing the comics?

This happens because the series, unlike its other streaming companions, such as superhero movies, approached the story of this heroine from a different, more comical and light-hearted perspective, which caused viewers to criticize the attraction, as they expected something with more action and adventure.

However, even if that had happened, Dan assured that the story is not “destroying” anything. It’s just that, just like him, other artists who wrote the story have always treated She-Hulk with good humor, without being afraid to put her in unusual situations.
