What is the plot of ‘The Tourist’?
Jamie Dornan was already quite famous for his role in the film ’50 Shades of Grey’, an adaptation of the famous erotic books written by EL James.
In the work, he plays millionaire Christian Grey, a domineering man, but at the same time extremely seductive and engaging.
Already in ‘The tourist‘, Dornan plays a person who has lost his memory and is chased by several criminals, even without knowing the reasons for this.
In the plot, he suffers a car accident and wakes up some time later, admitted to a hospital in Burnt Bridge, an isolated region of Australia.
We then follow the character trying to discover details of his past, with the help of a probationary police officer called Helen Chambers.
The series was created by the British channel BBC in partnership with brothers Jack and Harry Williams.
The cast also has other big names, such as Danielle Macdonald, Greg Larsen, Victoria Haralabidou, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Damon Herriman and Genevieve Lemon, as well as other equally talented actors.
“The idea of doing something with a comedic tone really appealed to us. That’s when we started talking, and this idea fell into place after we said, ‘let’s explore this territory,’” said co-creator Harry Williams.
