Romantic crossover: HQ features unusual marriage between Iron Man and X-Men character

In Marvel Comics, love is in the air. The entertainment giant announced that Iron Man is set to marry one of the most classic and popular members of the X-Men. Believe it or not, Emma Frost won the heart of the world’s most beloved billionaire.

The most avid fans of comic books in the Marvel universe probably remember that some time ago the company itself released a story that suggested that Iron Man would marry Emma Frost, the White Queen of the X-Men. But the story was forgotten and was never explored in the narrative.

O plot will be rescued by the production of the comics. Thus, writer Gerry Duggan decided to finally promote the couple’s marriage. He is a monthly author of both Iron Man and X-Men. The expectation is that the union will be shown in September, in the United States.

The writer talked a little about how marriage is unlikely. To him, neither of the two heroes seems like the marrying type. Duggan adds that they don’t seem ready to marry anyone, least of all each other. “But life can change quickly,” he declares.

Check out the story synopsis below (via Jameson’s):

“First, in X-Men #26, the moment we swore would never happen – hell, the moment Emma Frost swore would never happen – finally arrived! As the Frost/Stark knot is tied, Emma’s mutant family reacts to this surprise news! So, readers are cordially invited to the wedding of Anthony Edward Stark and Emma Grace Frost in Invincible Iron Man #10. Come join the lucky couple as they exchange vows. The attire is formal. Orchis’ attack comes next. Plus, some exclusive wedding extras!“

A strong team is behind the HQ

There is no doubt that the edition featuring the wedding between Iron Man and the White Queen will be more than special. The X-Men edition will feature artist Stefano Caselli (“Avengers”), while the Iron Man version will be drawn by Juan Frigeri (“Ghost Rider”).

Story inspired Brazilian fan

Fans are anxiously awaiting the edition that will feature the heroes’ wedding. The story of Iron Man has even inspired some people here in Brazil.

Proof of this is the art that illustrates this post, which was made by Brazilian artist Lucas Werneck. Did he manage to get closer to the reality that awaits us in September, when the comic will be released? All you have to do is wait and see!
