Majors’ abrupt dismissal came last December, just hours after his conviction was announced.
The actor described the overwhelming impact of the news, expressing that it was as if the universe had frozen around him.
“You work so hard for certain things. And then you arrive and see that it’s over.”
Majors’ stay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was already in doubt since the first accusations were made in 2023.
Rumors about the planned deletion of the character Kang circulated in Hollywood, becoming reality after his conviction.
Arrested in March 2023 for a complaint of domestic violence involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, the actor claims his innocence, denying the attacks.
The case revolved around a disagreement, resulting in Jabbari’s defense and the jurors’ conviction of Majors.
In his interview, Majors reiterated his denial of the allegations, questioning the jury’s verdict.
“I couldn’t believe it when it happened [o veredito]. I was wondering how this was possible.”
Despite everything, he confirmed disagreements with his ex-girlfriend, refuting the escalation to violence.
When asked about Jabbari’s reported injuries, Majors expressed perplexity, seeking to understand how such incidents could have occurred. Despite the challenges, the actor maintains hope of returning to his career.
“I pray that happens,” he said, highlighting his belief in deserving a second chance. “It’s God’s plan and in God’s time,” he adds.
