Rebel Moon Episode One – Child of Fire was currently airing at the time of this writing. 24% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 42 reviews. It was Snyder’s second-lowest score of his career, surpassed only by Sucker Punch.
Snyder’s filmography is notoriously controversial, but reaction to the first episode of Rebel Moon was largely negative from the start. The movie completely divided the audience; some called it a masterpiece, others called it a complete failure. Zack Snyder fans were quick to defend the director, denouncing the bad reviews.
