Kaido, the ‘Strongest Creature in the World’, has an origin shrouded in mystery.

Raised in the Vodka Kingdom, his journey into piracy began after being sold by the local king to the World Government. This experience revealed to him the corruption of the system and began his life as a pirate.

Although it was not made explicit in the manga, Kaido identifies himself as an “oni” and considers his son, Yamato, to be of the same nature. Their connection with this mysterious race is suggested by the unique physical characteristics of his lineage.

His pirate journey began when he joined the Rocks Pirates, led by Rocks D. Xebec, becoming one of the most feared crews until his legendary confrontation against Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp.

After this event, Kaido formed the Beast Pirates, seeking to become the Pirate King and dominate the world. world.

The alliance with Donquixote Doflamingo and Caesar Clown boosted his military influence, but the union of Luffy and Law to defeat him in Wano drastically altered his plans.

The oppression in Wano, especially after the arrival of Kaido and Orochi, triggered intense fighting led by Kozuki Oden. Oden, although he marked Kaido with a scar, was defeated due to a treacherous distraction.

The fate of Wano changed with the arrival of the Straw Hat Pirates, led by Luffy. Resistance grew and Kaidou was confronted once again. Luffy constantly evolved during the battle and his Gear 5 surprised the Yonko, culminating in Kaido’s fall.

Kaido’s defeat resonates like a March in Luffy’s search for the legendary One Piece. With unwavering determination, Luffy advanced on the Grand Line, asserting himself to become the Pirate King.
