Nostalgic Christmas: 3 cinematic classics that marked the 90s

You may have different ways of celebrating Christmas, or maybe the date is not very traditional, but one thing is almost certain: you have already watched some Christmas movies.

To get into the mood in the best possible way, without having to resort to Simone or Christmas specials on TV, how about we remember some classics that were part of our childhood afternoons?

1. ‘The Grinch’ (2000)

‘The Grinch’, a mean green creature, decides to ruin Christmas for the citizens of Whoville, but a little girl decides to be his friend, showing that the Christmas spirit can reach even the grumpiest.

2. ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ (1993)

A highlight at both Christmas and Halloween, this classic created by Tim Burton (although not directed by him) is a true journey into children’s imagination.

Many were a little scared, but who wasn’t enchanted by the story of the Halloween monster wanting to brighten up Christmas? The soundtrack is incredible and the stop motion animation is unique.

3. ‘Home Alone’ (1990)

Who doesn’t remember this classic from ‘Afternoon Session’? Written and produced by John Hughes and directed by Chris Columbus, ‘Home Alone’ stars Macaulay Culkin in the lead role.

Kevin, an 8-year-old boy, is left home alone during the summer holidays. Christmas and needs to defend himself from two clumsy thieves.
