According to information released in the comic “Venom #22”, released by Marvel Comics, the material used to produce Venom’s webs comes from his own feces. Yes, he may look extremely gross, but that’s what was revealed during this impactful comic.

The scene in which this bombshell news was revealed occurs during a fight between the protagonist Venom, who is inhabiting the body of Dylan, Eddie Brock’s son, and Flexo, another individual of the same species as Venom, known for being a symbiote.
In this scene, we see Venom saying the following to Dylan: “If you want more web fluid after this, we need to eat something the size of a man.”
As soon as Venom mentions these words, he explains the origin of a symbiote’s webs:
“It’s symbiote residue. I store it and then pull strands of it all over town. Don’t blame me, that’s how I was raised”, concludes the anti-hero.
Now, whenever you see Venom shooting its webs in people’s faces, it’s a sure bet that they’re coming into contact with webs made from feces. It’s something really unusual, isn’t it?
