Since the beginning of 2023, Netflix has been committed to improving the user experience across its various media. It’s like any other way for the streaming platform to block subscriber output as much as it can. And yes, keep in mind that Netflix lost over 200,000 users in the first quarter of 2022, a first in a decade.
Since January 2023, the iOS version of Netflix has received some interface improvements, such as smoother transitions between different menus and even support for haptic feedback. More recently, Netflix has finally integrated the ability to customize their subtitles, a feature that users have been asking for for a long time.
And this Tuesday, May 23, 2023, Netflix has released a new update For Android and TV versions of the app. Via this update, the streaming giant makes it easy to search for content in tab my listincludes your currently watching (or currently being watched) movies and TV shows.
Netflix makes it easier to find content on ‘My List’
So users can now take advantage of new filters where they can sort their content by:
- release date
- in alphabetical order
- by category (movies and series)
- By date added to “My List”
It is also possible to sort the titles according to two other very practical options: “I have started” or “I have not started”. In fact, it’s much easier to take an inventory of your current TV shows/movies and TV shows/movies you haven’t watched yet.
Remember, users have not rank their content saved in “My List” by using any filters until then. In other words, they had no choice but to scroll through the tiles until they found the content they were looking for.
Moreover, as mentioned above, the TV version also benefits from a few additions. On the home screen, Netflix has added a line Coming soon or “Coming soon.”. Here you will be able to get a brief overview of the TV shows and movies coming to the platform, with a brief synopsis and the official release date (if any).
