The cult of the god Jashin is one of the great mysteries that permeate the Naruto universe. Jashin is an evil god who appeared in Naruto through Akatsuki Hidan, a powerful organization of evil beings.
After remaining unexplained for some time, the cult will finally have its story clarified in the new sequel called “Konoha’s Story“.
The Akatsuki organization is made up of evil shinobi — absurdly powerful and dangerous beings — whose mission was to collect the Tailed Beasts.
Despite being powerful, no member of the organization was as sinister as Hidan, an immortal being, fanatical about Jashin, who could survive even being dismembered.
‘Konoha’s Story: The Steam Ninja Scrolls’
O spin off Naruto’s Boruto is set at the same time as another Naruto sequel. Although it didn’t win over fans right away, the story has a good protagonist, a cast familiar to fans, and the potential to explain one of the great mysteries of Naruto.
In Kanoha’s, Sarutobi Mirai, the main character, is a young man who must accompany Kakashi Hatake, and Might Guy, to Hidan and the Jashin cult’s homeland, the Land of Steam.
With that, the plot will reveal details about the cult of Jashin, something that has piqued fans’ curiosity since Hidan made it clear that he had abilities similar to Voodoo.
The cult is described in another manga, by Hidan, as “a public service that alleviates people’s fear of death by killing them, and that the only thing Jashin demands of his followers is a constant supply of human sacrifices.”
Despite this revelation, the episode leaves doubt as to whether Jasin is real, or if it is something invented by Hidan, and by all indications, this will only be revealed in Konoha’s Story.
