Fans of the famous manga “My Hero Academia” had worrying news: Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of the series, decided to take a break from production due to a health problem. In a statement released through the comic booksHorikoshi explained a little about the situation he faced.
It appears he was dealing with a serious ear disease where fluid was constantly escaping from him. However, the author mentioned that he eventually overcame this condition, although he came close to losing his hearing. It is not yet known whether the disease caused any permanent damage.
How will this affect the manga
Despite the scare, nothing will change regarding the editions already released and they will be published within the announced deadlines. However, future issues will have new issue dates.
Meanwhile, fans of “My Hero Academia” await the sixth season of the anime, which will bring the adaptation of the War Arc. In this part of the story, the heroes of UA High School unite to combat the evil machinations of the Paranormal Liberation Front.
Deku continues his studies at the agency of the number 1 hero, Endeavor, alongside Bakugo and Todoroki. With effort and determination, he develops his skills and starts to use the Black Whip, a new Individuality hidden within One for All.
