Meet Superman’s NEW Kryptonian enemy

After the end of the narrative of “Superman: Warworld Saga“, a great Kryptonian threat is placed in the spotlight, which leaves General Zod “in the dust”, that is, in the past, as something inferior.

However, although Zod managed to make a big mess of Superman for many years, his narrative ended up being spread to the world several times.

Unlike the new enemy, Kryl-Ux, from New Phaelosia, manages to change everything and completely transform the scenario to raise the level to something a little more difficult than the previous one, even more so when he sees Superman as a friend, even after his betrayal.

The narrative is already well known to the public: Krypton is in trouble and the baby Kal-El is destined for Earth to be raised by Kents so that he can eventually become Superman, who he believes for a long time to be the last Kryptonian.

In the face of all this, a Kryptonian general ends up being arrested, but escapes and fights Superman numerous times, forcing Clark Kent to fight one of the few Kryptonians that still exists.

However, in Zod’s view, his adversary is his enemy. In fact, in “Warworld Saga”, Superman finally hears rumors about the descendants of Krypton, the Phaelosians, who ended up being enslaved. In light of this, he and some allies set out to free them, resulting in a great friendship with the Phaelosian Kryl-Ux.

However, what was apparently supposed to be a great friendship took an intense turn in “Superman: Warworld Apocalypse #1”, written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Will Conrad, Brandon Peterson, Miguel Mendonca, Max Raynor, Lee Loughridge and Dave Sharpe.

By all accounts, it seems that Kryl-Ux ended up betraying Superman to Mongul, which resulted in the danger of two Phaelosian children. The ultimate goal behind this was to successfully kill and annihilate the dictator.

However, for this to actually happen, several lives were put in danger in a blind search for revenge due to the destruction of New Phaelosia.

As far as we know, until the end of this issue, violence will continue to follow the hero. Zod may be a dangerous person, but Kryl-Ux is even more so. His desire for revenge comes from a fair fight, which would certainly be respected by Superman, if he tolerated it.

Certainly, this issue is laying the groundwork for even more conflict against Kryl-Ux, and there’s no doubt that fans are eager to check it out and see what will happen when Superman decides to fight someone whose life’s mission is to promote justice for his people, no matter who it is and what sacrifice he will have to make.
