Recently, the Multiverse News commented on DC Comics reboots, the newest of which is “DC Comics: Future State”. However, as we all know very well, comic book companies are always competing against each other, and they are both looking for ways to attract more readers to the newsstands.
Therefore, the Marvel would not stay behind with their stories knowing that the A.D is about to bring interesting news. Therefore, we have currently seen some important events happening in all the publishers’ “cores”, such as, for example, in the stories “Uncanny Avengers”, “GODS”, “Ultimate Invasion” and “X-Men’s Fall of X”.
In addition to these, there are other sagas happening at the same time, and a few more to come. These will debut in the summer of the northern hemisphere, that is, in our winter, under the titles “Summer of Symbiotes” and “Contest of Chaos”, both still without a title in Portuguese.
What draws the most attention at the moment is the comic that will open the doors to all of this. Just like in the MCU there are films that mark the transition of phases, this one-shot (story that begins and ends in the same issue) is what marks the introduction of a new phase for Marvel comics.
‘Marvel Zero’
This edition will bring part of what is known as “Marvel’s Free Comic Book Day Gold”, in other words. This is because it will contain two comics present at FCBD 2023, as well as, according to the publisher, unpublished bonus materials. These two editions are “FCBD 2023: Venom/Spider-Man” and “FCBD 2023: Avengers/X-Men”.
But what is all this importance for Marvel? It turns out that both editions that will be part of Marvel ZERO are the editions responsible for introducing the beginning of the events that are to come throughout Marvel. For example, in this issue we will see the Hellfire Gala, the X-Men’s social event related to the real-life Met Gala.
This event, according to Marvel, is what will kick off the events of “X-Men’s Fall of X”. Now readers just have to wait and find out what these special events revealed to us.
