The character was designed by Len Wein and John Romita Sr., initially to challenge the X-Men. However, it was with Chris Claremont and John Byrne that his true depth was explored.

His story, linked to the Weapon X Project and his dark past, made him one of the most fascinating characters in comics.

Endowed with an accelerated healing factor and adamantium bones, Wolverine is practically immortal. His heightened senses, combined with his fighting skills, make him a formidable opponent.

And according to designer David Lopez, this new Wolverine will bring a unique approach, with striking traits of strength feminine!

Jane Howlett: the new Wolverine

Originally from Earth-1281, little is known about this character, but her arrival promises to shake up the Multiverse scenario.

While Laura and Gabby Kinney have played female versions of Wolverine, Jane stands out for being the first female incarnation of James Howlett, aka Logan!

This new addition brings a unique dimension to Wolverine’s legacy, further expanding its impact and diversity of stories.

The series, written by Christos Gage and illustrated by Yildiray Çinar, is scheduled for release in the US on March 6, 2024, with a plot involving the Phoenix on a mission to recruit different variants of Wolverine.

This plot, told in 4 issues, promises an imminent Multiversal threat that will be faced by the team of Wolverines.

Although the release date on Brazil has not yet been confirmed, fans’ eagerness to explore this new addition to the Wolverine universe is certainly at an all-time high.

Therefore, the wait for this miniseries to arrive promises a lot!
