One of the many important components of Japanese culture is the themed cafes. In addition to an environment focused on the chosen theme, we have special foods, including sweet and savory dishes, with shapes and designs so beautiful that it’s almost a shame to eat them.
In these cafes there are other traces of Japanese culture, as well as Western culture, such as cafes inspired by the franchise “Pokémon” or in the Western title “Alice in Wonderland”.
There are also establishments known as Maid Cafés, where women wear black and white dresses, with features similar to aprons, are present. At Neko Cafés, cat lovers can enjoy the company of felines and taste personalized food.
These themed cafes are geared towards different animes and mangas, such as the aforementioned “Pokémon”-themed cafe. When new animes or mangas are a big hit, it’s no surprise that a cafe geared towards their theme opens. One example is the new anime favorite among the public, “Chainsaw Man”.
‘Chainsaw Man’ themed cafe
A cafe themed around the hit anime series will open in three cities in Japan – Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. At first, it’s a little scary to think that an anime as bloodthirsty as “Chainsaw Man” would have a cafe that follows the Japanese culture of “cute food.”
However, considering that the anime features the much-loved Little girlwe can see a great mix of dishes prepared that follow the more “grotesque” pattern of the anime, while others are lighter and cuter, like Denji’s “sandwich” and Pochita’s sweet.
The official Twitter profile for the anime “Chainsaw Man” posted, on January 18, some images of the dishes that will be on the cafe’s menu, which can be seen in the following post.

According to information provided on the anime’s Twitter, the cafe will open on February 2, 2023.
A second season The anime does not yet have a confirmed date, but rumors point to its premiere later this year, possibly in spring, while others believe that the season will only be released in 2024.
