Batman and Iron Man, two of the most iconic superheroes in comics, have more in common than you might think. In a recent issue of the Tony Stark title, the two characters revealed themselves to be more alike than ever when they made the same mistake.
Both, despite their fortunes, chose to give up their comfortable lives to fight crime and protect humanity.

In the case of Batman, in a narrative arc titled “Tower of Babel”, the vigilante revealed his contingency plans for each member of the Justice League.
However, these plans ended up falling into the hands of the villain Ra’s Al Ghul and generating serious problems for the team. The Dark Knight found himself questioned for his lack of trust in his colleagues and the consequences of his actions. The story was even adapted into a animationtitled “Justice League: The Legion of Doom”.
In turn, Iron Man, in “I Am Iron Man #4”, turned to Doctor Strange to face a powerful mystical enemy. Unfortunately, when creating a specific weapon to combat this adversary, Tony Stark inadvertently revealed the existence of an armor called Strangebuster, capable of neutralizing Doctor Strange’s own powers.
This revelation generated conflict and distrust among the Avengers, including the captain Americacalling into question the trust placed in Stark.
However, the crucial difference between the two is the way they deal with the repercussions of their mistakes. Batman, known for his solitary behavior and averse to public opinion, does not care so much about the approval of the other members of the Justice League.
Tony Stark, on the contrary, constantly seeks the approval and acceptance of his companions, making himself more vulnerable to the consequences of his actions. Thus, the repercussions of these revelations and attitudes could be even more serious for Stark than for Bruce Wayne.
