‘In context, it’s fine’: Demi Moore reports on Bruce Willis’ health

Demi Moore shared unusual information about the health of Bruce Willis, her ex-husband famous for acting in the series ‘Hard to kill‘. In March 2022, he announced his retirement due to his diagnosis of aphasia.

In February 2023, it was announced that the artist is now facing a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which intensified challenges related to communication and memory.

His ex-partner addressed the issue during an appearance on the program ‘Good Morning America’.

“I think, given the context, he is doing very well. What I will say here is what I tell my daughters, that it is important to just consider what is there, and not hold on to what is not. Because there is great beauty and sweetness and love and joy in it.”

Relationship

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore shared a union from 1987 to 2000, during which they had three children: Tallulah (29 years old), Scout (31 years old) and Rumer (34 years old).

Furthermore, Willis is the father of Mabel (10 years old) and Evelyn (7 years old), fruits of his current marriage to model Emma Heming.

Recently, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis celebrated the arrival of their first granddaughter, daughter of their firstborn, Rumer. In April of last year, Rumer and her boyfriend, musician Derek Richard Thomas, shared the birth of the adorable Louetta with the world.

At the end of 2023, Emma Heming addressed Willis’ health condition during an interview with the international press.

“I’m realizing that dementia is a challenging situation. It is complicated both for the person who receives the diagnosis and for the family. This is no different in the case of Bruce, me and our daughters. When they say it’s a ‘family disease,’” it really is.

And keeps going…

“We are very honest and frank in our house. The most important thing of all was to make it clear what the disease is. Explain what it is, because when you have medical understanding, everything makes sense. So it was essential that they [as filhas] understand what it is, because I don’t want them to be stigmatized or embarrassed by their father’s diagnosis or any form of dementia”, he concludes.
