As you know, we have been talking about the uncertain future of OCS for several months. Orange has chosen to put its stake in the streaming service up for sale in February 2022. Why is that ? The contract between OCS and Warner Bros. expires on January 1, 2023.
As a reminder, this partnership signed in 2008 made OCS the sole distributor of HBO content in France. But with the impending arrival of HBO Max in France, Warner has decided not to renew that alliance, much to the dismay of OCS and current owner Orange.

To summarize the situation, Because of this, all HBO series that aired more than two years ago have been removed from the OCS catalog. In other words, subscribers will be able to find the first two seasons of White Lotus and Betty, as well as the corresponding first seasons of House of The Dragon and Perry Mason.
As a reminder, the future of the HBO series The Last of Us in France is still uncertain. Therefore, if the series is confirmed to not be available on OCS, rumors suggest that the series may come to Amazon Prime Video. But again, nothing official yet.
