Renowned mangaka Eiichiro Oda, creator of ‘One Piece‘, recently revealed that the character that causes him the most challenges in his creative process is the series’ protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy.

“Luffy gives me the most work. I have to limit him with obstacles, otherwise he will soon defeat the villain. My characters act as if they have minds of their own. When I forced them to change for the sake of the story, the public didn’t like it”, reveals the mangaka.
