As if Disney+ wasn’t expensive enough, it’s planning to raise subscription prices again

Particularly significant increases for Disney+, which charges two bucks for its teeth. Gone are the days when Mickey’s firm’s offer was the most interesting on the market.

These increases can be explained by several factors: inflation, which is obviously the attraction of profit, but it’s also due to the studios’ mad rush to deliver a lot of increasingly expensive content. For example, the latest Star Wars series, The Acolyte, benefited from a budget of $180 million for eight episodes – a huge figure, as it’s equivalent to the budget of a blockbuster like Oppenheimer or The Batman.
