Manhwa
The term “manhwa” is used to refer to South Korean comics. Like manga, manhwas cover a diversity of genres and artistic styles.

Manhua
“Manhua” is the Chinese term for comics produced in China. A hallmark of manhuas is their unique aesthetic, which can include an emphasis on detailed artistry, especially in traditional settings and costumes.
The themes covered in manhuas are generally influenced by the rich history and mythology China, as well as the current challenges faced by the country.

Mango
Finally, the term “manga” refers to Japanese comics, which play a significant cultural role in Japan and have gained popularity throughout the world. Manga span a wide variety of genres, ranging from action, romance, fantasy, science fiction to horror and slice of life.
Distinctive features of manga include the characters’ large, expressive eyes, narratives that often combine emotional drama with humor, and right-to-left reading due to the orientation of Japanese writing. The genre is one of the most popular in the comics industry.
