DC Comics is bringing new characters to its comics, and in an attempt to captivate the public, we were introduced to City Boy, a young boy who has incredible powers, which flow from his connection to the city in which he lives.
The story of Cameron Kim, name of the character behind City Boy, is in “City Boy #1”, when he appears helping a simple homeless man. But at that moment he ends up cornered in an alley the moment he walks away.
Thus, the situation forces him to fight against his enemies, which causes him to release incredible powers, making his opponents realize that he is connected to an intense wave of energy.
His arrival is recent in the comics and there are not many details regarding his history. However, the source of his power is clear: he has an intense connection to the city.
This ability allows you to find anything within the perimeter of the location. However, this is not the only ability that the incredible hero has.
Darkseid’s next target?
Although the hero is a new and powerful character, City Boy managed to catch the attention of one of the Justice League’s most powerful villains, Darkseid.
It seems that the villain has great interest in this character, especially in his abilities. Which indicates that City Boy could be Darkseid’s next obsession in the coming episodes.
However, it is worth refreshing the memory of DC Comics fans about the fact that there is a character very similar to City Boy, who is called Jack Hawksmoor, or “God of cities”. In short, his skills flow from different cities, without the need to be there.

So far, DC has not commented on the possible degree of kinship between both characters. However, one hypothesis seems certain: both Jack Hawksmoor and City Boy are in the same universe.
However, we will have to wait for the next publications regarding the story, in order to gather more information to find out if there is a connection between both heroes.
