Back in the 90s, Marvel Comics gave the character an incredibly tacky armor, which readers would hardly see appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although it is considerably ambitious, it is also seen as one of the worst costumes ever worn by the character.

However, over the years, the character received some adjustments and modifications, but his appearance remained intact, containing only a pair of swimming trunks. Until, finally, some changes occurred and, now, the character has his chest exposed, but with the presence of pants and a shorter jacket.

However, things didn’t end up working out so well with his appearance during the 90s, when Namor was found looking extremely ugly.

In “Namor The Sub-Mariner #37” by Bob Harras, Jae Lee, Dana Moreshead and Michael Higgins, the hero, who had been killed, was reborn from his ashes and received a new sacred armor from Atlantis.

But again, the design left a lot to be desired for fans. While it did serve an incredible purpose, the armor was eventually dropped due to it no longer being useful for the purposes of the story.Check out Namor's WORST uniform to date 2

With the character of Namor arriving in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” it would be an incredible surprise if the character made it to the big screen with his classic look in the live-action adaptation, and it would certainly be the best choice, but as for his previous looks, they are best left in the past.
