The first season of the anime ‘Chainsaw Man’ captivated a huge fan base with its immediate success. The digital adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s work, made by Studio MAPPAhas become one of the most popular and acclaimed series of the moment, gaining millions of followers.
However, since the end of the first season, the lack of information about the broadcast of the second season has left fans anxious.
Rumors circulate, but nothing has been officially confirmed, which causes concern among followers, who can’t wait for the adventures of Denji and the other characters that accompany the protagonist.
This concern grew after a recent message from Ryu Nakayama on his social networks, sparking speculation about his future at Studio MAPPA and the fate of the ‘Chainsaw Man‘.
In the post on X (formerly Twitter), he says:
Our mission this year is to create a better work environment, free from power harassment and bullying, free from unnecessary stress, stable in terms of money and time, and although we are still on a small scale, we are slowly taking shape. It is only the first year, so we will steadily build our foundation and should be able to launch it soon.
Nakayama’s message has sparked much speculation in the fan community. Although he has not directly confirmed it, it is suggested that he has left Studio MAPPA, possibly forming his own work team.
This departure raises doubts about the continuity of the animeleaving more questions than answers for fans of the work.
