Since his beginnings as Robin, Damian Wayne has proven himself to be incredible. However, as if that weren’t enough, he was also able to give his father a gift he never expected.
Damian was born into the League of Assassins and has always faced countless hardships. From the beginning, he was trained with a single purpose: to become the perfect assassin and the successor of Ra al Ghul. However, as expected, he felt great curiosity in meeting his father.
His mother, Talia, decided to leave him with Bruce for a while. Bruce, in turn, allowed the boy to be his Robin.
Damian begins to identify with his father and from then on decides to do everything he can to become a hero. However, he has difficulty relating to people.
And it is precisely for this reason that his gift becomes even more surprising. Because it is not to be expected such an unusual gift coming from someone who does not seem to care about anyone but himself, as Batman himself said, shortly before Damian surprised him.
In Batman and Robin Annual #2 by Peter Tomasi and Doug Mahnke, Batman finds a gift that had been left by his son, Damian. The gift was Tusk’s tusk, which demonstrated that Damian had been able to locate the previously missing villain and defeat him.
Furthermore, in Batman and Robin #40 by Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason, Damian presents Alfred with a family portrait.

Although the gifts mentioned above were very sincere and therefore special, they are nothing compared to the one I am about to mention.
After learning of the events with Bruce in Crime Alley, Damian spends the following months in the sewers searching for at least one pearl that had been part of the necklace of Martha Wayne, his grandmother and Bruce’s mother. He manages to recover one of these pearls and gives it as a gift to his father Bruce in Batman and Robin #14 by Peter Tomas, Patrick Gleason and Tomás Giorello.
The fact that after almost 30 years since the event, he found the most vivid and unexpected memory of Bruce’s mother certainly proved to be a great feat and an incredible gift on Damian’s part, who through this gift proved his enormous admiration, respect and love for his father, Bruce.
