With the resounding success of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen‘ in the world of manga and entertainment, speculation about its outcome has gained prominence.
Recently, the author of the series, Gege Akutamireleased clues and statements that suggest that the end of the story may be near.
This news has generated a wave of theories, anxiety, expectations and, of course, sadness among fans, who are now waiting to discover the outcome of this universe.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ manga expected to end soon
The story of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student with exceptional athletic skills who ends up becoming involved in a dark world, full of curses and sorcery, after coming into contact with a cursed object.
He joins the Jujutsu Sorcerers organization of sorcerers to combat curses and protect humanity.
The manga and anime are known for their thrilling action, high-quality animation, and engaging character development, garnering a dedicated fanbase since their release.
However, the end of Gege Akutami’s work must be very close. At the Jump Festa 2024 event, one of the main events in the anime world, several important announcements were made, including a ‘Chainsaw Man’ film, a remake of ‘One Piece‘, between others.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ creator Gege Akutami also made his contribution and sent a letter to fans during the event.
“This Jump Festa will most likely be the last one in which ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ will still be in serialization.”

In 2021, Akutami predicted that Jujutsu Kaisen would take two years to produce, but it has exceeded that deadline. In 2023, the creator expressed the desire for fans to follow him for another year.
Currently, the anime is in the final stretch of its second season, adapting the Shibuya Incident arc, while in the manga the story recently explored the biggest fight to date, between Satoru Gojo and Sukuna.
