With the enormous success of the first edition, Netflix confirmed the continuation of the program and announced the opening of registrations on its social networks.
Those interested in participating must access the official ‘Squid Game Casting’ website, interact with the Global Casting section and fill out the form, following all established rules.
Requirements include being at least 21 years old, available for a period of up to four weeks — the attraction’s recording time — and having a valid passport.
The application form requires a video in English in which applicants must explain why they want to participate in the program and what they would do with the prize. In addition, photos of participants’ faces and full bodies are requested. Here you can sign up.
‘Round 6 – The Challenge‘ is a ten-episode British reality show based on the South Korean drama ‘Squid Game’. With 456 players, it is considered the largest cast in the history of reality shows and competes for a prize of R$22 million.
The show’s success was remarkable, reaching the top of Netflix’s list of the top 10 English-language shows within the first few weeks of release. Thus, it accumulated more than 224 million hours watched in the first 21 days.
