In comics and series Super heroes, the formation of powerful groups has always been very welcomed by the public. After all, seeing the magazines’ most renowned icons united in one group, fighting side by side, is something that pleases any fan.
Over the years, competitiveness in the comic book universe has grown exponentially, resulting in a wave of increasingly stronger and more diverse teams being created. Thus, the task of classifying which of these groups would be the most powerful in the universe became difficult, as occurs in DC Comics.
Until then, the Justice League was unquestionably considered the most powerful formation in the DCU, but a team from the comics, although rarely mentioned, has the potential to put this leadership in doubt!
Can the Justice League’s medieval lineup surpass the original?

In the DC universe, the Justice League has always been sovereign, with big names such as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.
However, in a parallel universe known as “Dark Knights of Steel”, with a medieval version of the heroes, we come across an extremely powerful and mostly female group.
In the history of this saga, especially in the recent release “Dark Knights of Steel #12”, we see the invasion of extraterrestrials known as White Martians on our planet. In this context, the three kingdoms that dominate the world unite against this evil, in a team made up of a range of different powers and specialties.
Who are the heroes of this Medieval League and why is it stronger than the original?

The group is made up of: Supergirls, Wonder Woman, Lara Zor-EL, Constantine, Lois Lane, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Anissa Pierce, Jennifer Pierce, Batman and Superman. There is a female majority in this formation, something purposely placed, given that, in this universe, world leaders (kings) were practically decimated.
Fans then debate to decide which formation has the greatest power, whether this or the original. And the complexity of the debate is great, as it extends to the historical context, in which heroes like Batman, who use technology, need to adapt to new circumstances.
Furthermore, in a world with little technological development, it is difficult to understand the weaknesses of aliens like Superman and, especially, the group’s enemies, the White Martians.
Given the difficulties and presentations, in addition to the range of differentiated powers, the leadership of the Justice League original is put to the test. So, what do you consider to be DC Comics’ most powerful lineup?
