1. The photos shown in the film

The first mistake lies in the photos presented throughout the film. An Olympus Pen camera (EE series) was used by survivors, but the images shown are horizontal.

This camera model is unable to capture photographs in this format, allowing only vertical recordings.

The technical detail, although subtle, did not go unnoticed by spectators more attentive and photography connoisseurs.

2. The plane crash

Another point of contention revolves around the depiction of the plane crash. Eyewitnesses at the time claim that the aircraft collided with the mountain 2 to 3 times, an aspect not accurately addressed in the Netflix film.

The third and final error stands out when the characters pray. While reciting the Our Father, the protagonists say the phrase “forgive us our trespasses”.

However, historically, the replacement of the term debt offenses occurred only in 1988, but only in 1992, in Latin American countries.

This raises questions about the expression used in the film, suggesting that the correct expression would be “forgive us our debts” at the time portrayed.
