Sait from Denmark, host of the RCB Podcast, asked SIRAJ how he knew he had been selected for the IPL team. Siraj said, “I was in the middle of a Ranji Trophy T20 Training in Hyderabad. Bharat Arun My teacher came and said not to come to the training today, I asked why I was my teacher. they said it’s an auction and you can’t focus on your training, then Siraj asked them, sir mein select ho jaunga na and they, yes, relax and not be nervous.

“My name didn’t show up until lunchtime. I was like, ‘What’s going on here? Did they delete my name?” I immediately called Bharat Arun, “My name has not appeared until now.” He told me not to worry. An hour later – about half an hour later – my name appeared: Siraj. No one raised their hand in the first ten seconds. I thought, ‘Someone pick it up and then let it go’. Then RCB lifted and I thought, OK, so I was selected. When I got home, my brother told me I was selected at 2.6 crores INR,” Siraj added.

The only thing that matters to me is to play cricket and represent my country. RCB bid 2.4 and Sunrisers Hyderabad 2.6 as they had their budget at auction. I just knew that RCB would bid for me. I started shouting that I was selected in RCB, but I did not know that I was selected in SRH.
