The day belonged to Aiden Markram when South Africa locked horns with England at the T20 decision maker at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground in Southampton, England on Sunday 31 July. Markram was the bowler who fired Moeen Ali, but all the credit goes to Tristan Stubbs, who delivered a stunning one-handed catch.
On the final ball of the 10th round, Aiden Markram’s ball blew up. Ali tried to kick the ball to the side of the leg, but the ball hit the left side of the guards and Tristan Stubbs was away from the ball. The ball looked like it was going to land safely, but Stubbs ran to his left and dived with his left hand outstretched and got a great pair of binoculars. Ali left after three laps over five balls.
