On Wednesday 17 August, during the Royal One Day Cup match between Surrey and Somerset at London’s Kennington Oval, the latter’s fielder Matt Renshaw made a surprising catch to throw Ryan Patel over Kasey Aldridge.
This was the 6th time Aldridge bowled over the wicket to Patel. Aldridge delivered a shorter body line and Patel tried to defend him but gained an outside advantage. Renshaw dived to his left after the slides and caught a spectacular catch.
