WATCH: Glenn Maxwell screams ugly one-handed to fire Martin Guptill

Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell caught a tough dive to fire New Zealander Martin Guptill on Tuesday (September 6th) during the first ODI of the ongoing New Zealand tour in Cairns.

This was the fifth in Mitchell Starc’s fourth delivery. Guptill pushed the ball, which caused him to be dismissed. Guptill’s thick outer rim saw the ball travel backwards to Maxwell’s left. It takes a special effort to get rid of the devastating Guptill, and Maxwell quickly reacted, dived, and suddenly got the ball. He stretched out his left hand and the ball clung to his palms. Guptill left after scoring six points with a fourteen throw of 19 balls.
