Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) head Ramiz Raja He said that if the issue between the two boards is not resolved, Pakistan may boycott the World Cup to be held in India next year. As Pakistani fans disliked Jay Shah’s announcement of a neutral pitch for the Aisa Cup 2023, the secretary of the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI), Raja said the board will decide based on the fans’ interests.

Pakistan has been awarded the hosting rights for the 2023 Asian Cup, but BCCI secretary Jay Shah said the tournament will take place on a neutral ground due to political tensions. Raja said that if India does not want to come to Pakistan, the hosting rights should be taken from them. If the 2023 Asian Cup takes place outside of Pakistan, according to Raja, Pakistan will boycott next year’s Asian Cup. ODI World CupIt is scheduled to take place in India.

Ramiz Raja says Pakistan survived without India
The former Pakistani player later said that he hoped the two countries would meet again as fans of both sides love the opponent’s players, but “equal terms“. He reiterated his consent to the India-Pakistan matches.
“I am in favor of the India-Pakistan competitions, I have recorded this. I absolutely love the fans and they love us too – Pakistan has become a brand in international cricket, the players have fans in India and I know Pakistan is the second most watched team in India after India so they are interested in our developmentsaid the Raj.
