“Every cricketer goes through a tough time” – Jacques Kallis
Virat Kohli recently recorded his 71st century after a gap of nearly three years. He was the target of serious criticism when he didn’t contribute to the team’s races. But South Africa’s legendary Jacques Kallis defended Kohli, saying that every cricketer goes through a tough time.
“Every cricketer goes through a tough time. This is so normal. The important thing is that you reach the top at the right time and I’m sure Virat Kohli understands what he has to do for his team in Australia and will work on it.“said.
Meanwhile, Team India arrived in Nagpur for the 2nd T20I against Australia scheduled for Friday, September 23. Virat Kohli scored just two points in the first T20I in Mohali. But Hardik Pandya’s 71* and KL Rahul’s half-century and Suryakumar Yadav46 of them have helped their team beat 208/6 in 20 overs reserved.
But India’s poor pitching and below-average bowling failed to restrain the Australians from chasing the goal, they did and they won the match by four runs. Aaron Finch’s team leads the three-game T20I series 1-0 up.
