Faf du Plessis, Skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore presented brand new Caps to their teammates ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. RCB players are currently training intensely in Mumbai and preparing for the next season. Faf Du Plessis was released by CSK ahead of the mega-auction and acquired by RCB, the new franchise announced a few days ago, as the new IPL captain.
Faf Du Plessis donned a hat to his teammates during an IPL team event. The Bangalore franchise gave fans a glimpse by posting pictures on their official Instagram handle. RCB shared the following post with pictures from the event and captioned it:
“A player representing RCB becomes an integral part of this franchise’s rich history. As part of this new initiative, #IPL2022 From now on, our players will wear RCB hats with their assigned debut numbers in chronological order, just as international teams do.
Virat Kohli, Karn Sharma, S Sriram, Harshal Patel, Dinesh Karthik, Mohammed Siraj, Kulwant Khejroliya, Shahbaz Ahmed and Wanindu Hazaranga received their special caps from Captain Faf du Plessis today.”

MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli meet in a training session before IPL 2022
Indian legends MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli caught up during a practice session for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Ten teams are preparing for the 15th season of the T20 league, which will start on Saturday, March 26.
defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on last season’s runners-up Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) In the opening match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
New Captain Faf du Plessis took on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on March 27 at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
On Friday, RCB’s official Instagram shared two photos of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli taking some time to chat during a workout. The franchise shared the photos with the caption:

Both Dhoni and Kohli have resigned as captains of their respective teams. The former decided to hand over the CSK leadership to Ravindra Jadeja, while the latter decided to leave the RCB captaincy after the IPL 2021 season. MS Dhoni finished his IPL career with four titles, while Virat Kohli did not win a single one. RCB reached the finals under Kohli in 2016.
