Dwayne Bravo He spoke about his time in the Indian Premier League career on Friday, December 2nd, in an Instagram post. However, he will not be leaving the league completely as the Chennai Super Kings have appointed him as bowling coach.
Bravo announced its decision on its social media account. It reads: “After playing in the toughest T20 league for 15 years, today I am announcing that I will no longer be in the IPL. It was a wonderful journey with many ups and downs. At the same time, I am grateful to have been a part of IPL for the past 15 years. I know it’s been a sad day for myself, my family and most importantly my fans. But I also want us all to celebrate my last 15 years of career.Bravo said in his Instagram post.

He then went on to add the new role of coaching the team in the same post. “I want to let my fans know that I can’t wait to put on my coaching hat as I get ready to jump in and hang up my bowling boots.,” added.
Bravo began his journey in the IPL in his inaugural season in 2008 and is the cash-rich league’s most goalkeeper. He took 183 goals in 161 matches. Versatile, he also collected 1560 rounds at a rate of 130 strokes.
He wore the Yellow jersey in 2011. He played 144 matches for CSK, scored 1,556 runs and swam 168 goals, and played a pivotal role in CSK’s key victories. It was released ahead of the IPL 2023 auction by the Yellow-based franchise, but already has three trophies when representing them.
