Mumbai Indians spinner Kumar Kartikeya is reunited with his family after nine years and three months. Earlier today (Wednesday, August 3rd), she shared a photo with her mother on her social media account.
“I met my parents and my mother after 9 years and 3 months. I cannot express my feelings”- Kartikeya wrote on Twitter.

The hard days of Kumar Kartikeya
That being said, Kartikeya’s journey to IPL was not without its struggles. To avoid being a burden to her family, she left her home at the age of 15 and had to work in a factory. He hadn’t even had lunch for a year and had to save Rs 10 for a pack of biscuits and walked miles to train.
From this, he made his debut in the Ranji Trophy for Madhya Pradesh in 2018. During his first season at the IPL, he shared the story of not meeting his family. He read the numbers 1/19 in his first match.
