“Breathtaking stuff!” – Twitter is going crazy as Suryakumar Yadav’s shimmering kick turns India into a mammoth 237/3 against South Africa

Suryakumar Yadav has proven once again that he is one of the best players in T20I. His quick kick, combined with the equal contribution of the best batsmen, put India’s score of 237/3 at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday, October 2nd.

The Indians were asked to strike first, and openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma formed a 96-man partnership for the first wicket. Rohit became the first batsman to be dismissed. This happened in 9.5 when Keshav Maharaj took a short hit in the middle. Rohit slowed down but could not connect well. He went to the middle wicket that was deeper than the top edge Tristan Stubbs had caught. Rohit left after 43 hits with 37 balls, including seven quads and sixes.

Rahul was Maharaj’s next victim. Maharaj threw a flatter ball in the middle. Rahul lowered to sweep, but missed and hit the pads. The LBW appeal was made and the referee held up his finger. Rahul took the inspection and UltraEdge showed the bat not involved, Ball Tracking showed three red dots. Rahul returned after a critical hit in 57 rounds of 28 balls (five fours and four sixes) with an impressive hit rate of 203.57.

Next dough, Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli once again partnered. With an impressive hit rate of 277.27, Suryakumar hit 61 series with just 22 balls with five fours and as many sixes.

But in lap 19, Anrich Nortje played a long, open bowling. Kohli was the batsman and hit the ball and the ball went straight to Temba Bavuma. Suryakumar was running fast but Kohli was watching the ball. Suryakumar got stuck in the middle and Bavuma threw the ball to the bowler and Surya was exhausted.

Kohli was missing 49 runs with 28 balls in sevens and sixes, while Dinesh Karthik played 17 runs of four and two six balls to increase India’s score to 237/3 in the allotted 20.
